Vision
Elders aging in place in a comfortable, tropical assisted
living community.
Mission
To provide a model assisted living community in harmony with
the environment and fully integrated within the surrounding
community.
Guiding Principles
1. We believe that all elders deserve a supportive living
environment; therefore the Florida Keys Assisted Living
Community serves persons of all income levels.
2. We recognize that the Florida Keys Assisted Living
Community may be the only assisted living offered for
elders, therefore residency priority will be given based
upon the length of Monroe County residency.
3. We believe that all persons contribute to the richness of
the community, and so low cost, moderate cost and high cost
units will be integrated throughout the community.
4. Because we value each person, all residents enjoy the
common elements equally.
5. Because we are a part of the community, we will welcome
the compatible shared use of a community center and park by
friends and neighbors.
6. Because we believe in self-determination, the Florida
Keys Assisted Living Community will have a strong Resident
Council, which will share in management decisions.
7. We value diversity, therefore we respect the
individuality of each resident.
8. We value continuous growth, and so we will promote a
milieu that supports life-long continued learning and
personal growth experiences. |
